Hey everyone!!
This last week was super super busy which was really good because we thought it was gonna be really slow due to Oktoberfest. They have decorated the city with giant ducks tho, it´s kind of weird so I´m gonna have to take a picture with one so that you can see. The weather got SUPER hot for one day , too, like it probably hit 90s and now it has cooled down again, but it was good to have that day because it really helped me appreciate the winter. I met this guy yesterday at church who served here in the Brasil Floripa mission when James Barnett was here and he knows him super well so that was funny, his name is Pereira. We have this one lady named Rosa and her husband Eduardo who we are teaching and we love them so much, some of our favorite people that we meet with. Eduardo is totally out of it and he always goes into the kitchen to smoke ´cigarettes´ half way thru the lesson, but Rosa is a rock, she refers to us by our first names tho haha (we forgot that we even told her our first names). She has been reading the Book of Mormon lately and we asked her if she prayed to know whther the book is true or not and she said, ´I really believe that the book is true but I´m scared to pray and ask God because then that means that the Catholic church isn´t true`...we are going to check on her this Wednesday so hopefully she gained some courage! Everything is going great out here tho, I´m truly starting to realize just how great of a blessing every day on the mission is, it´s incredible. I love you all and give the little ones some loves for me!!!!!!
